I may be biased as Jacques is my Team Leader, but I feel he is an exceptional leader. The support I have received from Jacques over the past year, or two, has made me recognise what a difference a Great Leader can make. Jacques does not only show a strong commitment to his own personal growth but encourages and sets goals for Michelle and I for our own growth and development. Jacques calm and supportive demeaner fosters relationships within our little team, the rest of our consulting team, the partners we are working with and our clients, which makes our support of these clients the most efficient it can be.

Jacques Mouton epitomises the phrase “Customer Excellence”. Jacques’s calm manner and unyielding determination to deliver exceptional customer service makes him the best candidate for this award. Whilst juggling his own large project, administrative requirements of being a manager to two new consultants and mentoring and training said consultants, he still manages to understand, manage and champion what our clients want and building long-term relationships with these clients. Jacques is an asset to our department and SYSPRO as a whole.

Karen is a leader on her team, but also looking out for those around her. She is creative in her strategy and pulling for everyone to win alongside her.

Angel continuously goes above and beyond to ensure our customers are well served. He always puts customers first, ensuring they are well cared for. Even when he’s off or it’s after hours, he still does whatever he can to address the customers’ needs.

Calvin is an unsung hero and always willing to assist colleagues and customers with his busy schedule. He demonstrates a strong commitment to finding the best solutions for internal and external customers, showing a passion for overcoming challenges.

Calvin deserves the SYSPRO Solution Award for consistently delivering smart and practical solutions that add real value to our customers.

Israel is seen as a highly intelligent, innovative, and supportive team member who brings significant value through his technical expertise and futuristic mindset. He not only helps solve problems but also teaches colleagues more efficient ways of working. While his contributions are greatly appreciated, there is an opportunity for him to broaden his scope of responsibilities and showcase his potential at an even higher level. His thought leadership has resulting in the unique SYSPRO value proposition of the “Dare to be Different” initiative that showcases SYSPRO’s unique value proposition as a company and as a product to prospective partners in a way that differentiates SYSPRO from our competitors to attract and recruit new channel partners. Through the “SkillUP” series of webinars for partners, James has provided partners with crucial, accessible knowledge and resources, promoting supplementary knowledge development aligned with our product and market.”

Viki consistently demonstrates her kind heart by supporting initiatives both at SYSPRO and outside of work. Whatever is happening Viki shows up and does it with a smile a passion that is infectious.

Paul is the kind of person who makes growth feel achievable and inspiring. He’s deeply committed to his own development, consistently seeking out learning opportunities—whether through SYSPRO LearnIt Online or other platforms—and always pushing himself to expand his skills and knowledge.

Paul is an incredible leader who has proven over many years that he can lead in his own actions. He is passionate, supportive, driven and a true champion in leadership.

Nothing is ever too much for Chris as he works tirelessly on improving internal processes, with a clear vision for the future. He is an inspiration and demonstrates a strong track record of achieving impactful, measurable outcomes. His fair and pleasant demeanor makes working with him a pleasure. Chris will always find the time to listen to all stakeholders, and his ‘winning together’ mind-set is motivating! For me, he ticks all the boxes to be nominated for the SYSPRO Transformation Award.

Everyone knows and loves Leatitia for the fantastic work she does for the S.M.I.L.E. committee, but she embodies our values in her actual day job, too. She is enthusiastic about all her work, even the bits that she doesn’t enjoy. She volunteers to take on work that makes her uncomfortable or pushes her out of comfort zone with willingness and a passion to succeed. She is keen to learn new things, to prove herself, to help when and where she can and nothing is too much for her. She is an inspiration to her team and her colleagues.

Leatitia’s dedication to employee motivation and wellbeing is truly exceptional. She consistently goes above and beyond, organizing a wide range of events that bring joy, connection, and inspiration to our workplace. From wellness initiatives and themed celebrations to creative campaigns and thoughtful touches, Leatitia’s attention to detail ensures every event is memorable and meaningful. Amanda has excelled in leading the transformation of our ALF process – our core revenue engine for SYSPRO. We set a clear objective in May 2025 this year to remove risk, standardize operations, and enhance the customer experience and she has helped turn what was once a major pain point into a scalable, high-value process that now underpins our shift to a customer-centric, subscription-driven business. She has exemplified the SYSPRO Brand through collaboration, and commitment to progress, consistently delivering on customer expectations, and quickly built trusted relationships across teams. She embodies the SYSPRO spirit in every way.

Thiren joined the team as an intern developer in the middle of 2024. We did not have a formal BI internship so we guided Thiren through a self-study program. His dedication to the self-study program was amazing – he worked though the guides quickly often picking up additional training material along the way or attending online courses that he found. Thirens very first training task was to write a dashboard on the risk register data. This dashboard was of such a high standard we use the dashboard for the ISO audits and for the IT Steerco meetings. To keep him challenged we then moved Thiren onto SQL, this was clearly his true passion and this is where he shone. A senior BI architect once said to me ‘Is there anything this chap can’t do’. He is always willing to go the extra mile, he is always enthusiastic and the quality of his work is exceptional. This is why I would like to nominate Thiren as Intern of the year for 2025.

He’s a remarkable leader who genuinely invests in the growth of his team and those around him. He consistently motivates, influences, and supports others, leading by example and creating a positive, encouraging environment—both professionally and personally.

Zak is a manager I deeply admire and respect. His honesty, transparency, and ability to motivate set him apart as a true leader. He demonstrates exceptional skill in leading and supporting people, making a positive impact through both his guidance and example.

Tracey is an incredible mentor and manager. I’m always grateful for her patience, guidance and knowledge sharing with me. Her unwavering dedication to deliver exceptional support to both direct customers and partners is always amazing to us. Love working with her and proud to be her subordinate.

Tracey Gates exemplifies the true spirit of teamwork, support, and leadership within SYSPRO. As Support Manager, she consistently goes above and beyond to empower her colleagues and foster a positive, collaborative environment where everyone feels valued and included.

In 2024, we secured our largest-ever services engagement with the ICP project—four new companies and seven re-engineered ones, totaling nearly $1,2 million. It’s been a massive undertaking and has consumed a significant portion of our team’s time and focus. Through it all, Candice Trent and Angel Garcia have been at the center, holding it together. I’m proud to nominate Candice for recognition based on her exceptional leadership and unwavering commitment to excellence on what has been one of the most complex and demanding projects we’ve ever taken on. The ICP project plan includes over 1,500 individual tasks, and Candice has not only managed the SYSPRO side but also taken on coordination with the customer’s teams. That alone is a full-time job—but she’s done it with clarity, consistency, and a calm presence that’s kept everyone aligned. Candice has shown a true growth mindset, especially as the original ICP team transitioned out and new resources had to be onboarded midstream. She’s led with integrity, keeping communication open and honest, even when the path forward wasn’t always clear. She brings passion to every interaction—motivating others, keeping momentum, and making sure no detail slips through the cracks. Despite the complexity, we continue to deliver this project on time and under budget, which is a testament to her results-driven approach. What I appreciate most is her authenticity—she’s real, approachable, and always focused on doing what’s right for the team and the client. She’s created a culture of winning together, bringing ISVs, customer resources, and internal teams into a shared vision of success. Candice has made a measurable impact on this project and on everyone involved. I strongly recommend her for this recognition.
